$10 RASPBERRY SUNDAE HOSTA-Large variegated leaves with burgundy-wine colored stems make Raspberry Sundae Hosta unique. August to October hummingbirds love the deep lavender-purple flowers that rise above the plant. Raspberry Sundae is compact, 8-10 inches high (+ summer flower stalks) and 18-20 inches wide. It thrives in full/part shade but handles morning sun. Raspberry Sundae Hosta is excellent for woodland gardens, shady borders, grouping under trees, or in a container. Hosta ‘Raspberry Sundae’ USDA Zone 4-9
$10 TWILIGHT HOSTA is named for its creamy borders that resemble a twilight skyline. The shiny heart-shaped leaves have deep green centers, and their thickness gives them slug-resistance. Twilight is classified as a sun-tolerant Hosta if well-watered, but it enjoys part to full shade. Mid-summer brings delicate light lavender colored flowers that attract butterflies and are beneficial to pollinators. Twilight has a moderate growth rate and matures 12-24 inches high, up to 30 inches wide. Hosta ‘Twilight’ USDA Zones 3-9
$10 BIG DADDY HOSTA - Large chalky-blue, thick furrowed leaves (up to 10 inches long) on Big Daddy Hosta are slug-resistant. In late summer white bell-shaped flowers attract hummingbirds. Big Daddy Hosta grows slowly, but when mature it may be 28 inches tall, 40 inches wide. The most dramatic blue foliage color is in shade, but the plant will handle filtered morning sun. (4-6 hours) This Hosta makes a stunning container plant. Big Daddy Hosta is also excellent as a border, under trees, or next to structures where light is limited. Hosta ‘Big Daddy’ USDA Zones 3-9
$10 AUGUST MOON HOSTA - Heart-shaped, rippled lime-green emerging leaves are a feature of August Moon. It is renowned for its sun tolerance. In half-day sun the 9 inch long leaves will take on almost a golden yellow tinge. These thick leaves have a welcome slug resistance. In late summer, very pale lavender colored flowers rise above the plant, attracting hummingbirds. August Moon grows quickly, becoming 16-24 inches high, 36-42 inches wide. August Moon Hosta is also an excellent container plant. Hosta ‘August Moon’ USDA Zones 3-8
