EARLY SEASON -REKA, SWEETHEART, PATRIOT

$20 SWEETHEART is the only re-fruiting blueberry.  It gives two crops each year - early summer and again in fall.  The deep blue juicy berries are known for being aromatic, with firm texture and a sweet flavor Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Sweetheart’  USDA Zones 4 – 8

$20 PATRIOT is the largest early season blueberry, with ripe fruit starting in June.  It is juicy, sweet - freezing exceptionally well and outstanding for baking and preserving.  (Delicious eaten fresh too!)  A bush may have 10 to 20 pounds of berries, and the bush is pest and disease resistant.  Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Patriot’   USDA Zones 3 – 7

$10 REKA blueberries ripen early in the season.  Their dark blue berries have a rich sweet flavor and pleasing aroma.  Reka bushes mature at 4 to 6 feet high and produce plentiful yields of medium size berries.  Developed in New Zealand, the bushes are fast growing, vigorous, and adaptable – even growing in clay or sandy soil. Vaccinium corymbosum “Reka’ USDA zones 4 - 7

EARLY TO MID SEASON - DUKE

$10 & $20 DUKE  An extra-large sweet blueberry, Duke has great flavor and keeps well.  The light-blue berries usually ripen starting mid to late June through July.  Bushes have strong upright growth 4 to 6 feet tall.  They are extremely cold-hardy, blooming late but ripening berries early, thus protecting buds from unwelcome spring frosts.  Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Duke’   USDA Zones 4 – 7

MID SEASON – BLUECROP, BLUERAY

$10 & $20 BLUECROP A favorite for backyard gardens, Bluecrop’s light-blue berries are large, sweet, mild, and firm, ripening in July.  Bushes are known for large clusters of berries and high yields of 10 to 20 pounds per bush.  Attractive Bluecrop bushes have open upright growth 4 – 6 feet tall.  The hardy Bluecrop is disease-resistant and one of our most requested blueberry varieties. Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Bluecrop’  USDA Zones 4 – 8

$20 BLUERAY produces a large, sweet, firm, dark-blue berry of exceptional quality, recognized to have more antioxidants than other varieties.  Blueray berries have a “vibrant flavor” - they ripen in July with harvest going on for many weeks.  The bush is vigorous, productive, and winter-hardy.  Blueray bushes mature at about 4 to 6 feet.  Vaccinium corymbosum “Blueray USDA Zone 4 – 9

MID TO LATE SEASON – LEGACY, CHANDLER

$10 & $20 LEGACY produces sweet, aromatic fruit for an extended period in mid-summer, usually late July to August.  It is especially known for the super-sweetness and unique taste of its large berries.  Legacy has high yields and its large firm berries store well. Bushes are vigorous and upright, maturing at about 6 to 7 feet tall.  People say they get so many berries that one Legacy is actually like having 1½ bushes!  Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Legacy’   USDA Zones 5 - 9

$10 & $20 CHANDLER produces exceptionally large and sweet berries - named the “World’s Largest Blueberry.”  They are delicious fresh, but also excellent for baking.   Chandler has an extended ripening season from July through August (4 to 6 weeks) and consistently high yields.  The attractive bush is robust, disease and pest resistant, maturing 5 - 6 feet tall.  It is our most popular blueberry variety. Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Chandler’  USDA Zone 4 – 8

LATE SEASON – ELLIOTT, SWEETHEART, PINK LEMONADE

ELLIOTT is especially welcome as it ripens at the end of August and into the fall.  The light blue berries are said to be sweet with a little “blueberry tang” to them.  The firm fruit will last a week in the refrigerator and it has excellent freezing quality.  The 4 – 6 foot tall upright growth of this low-maintenance bush typically produces 15 to 25 pounds of delicious fresh berries for weeks after other varieties have stopped.  Vaccinium ‘Elliottii’   USDA Zones 5 – 8

SWEETHEART has a second blueberry harvest in the fall.

PINK LEMONADE produces fresh blueberries through October.  It has glossy, delicious bright pink fruit that is firm, juicy & sweet.  These berries are a distinctive addition to your summer desserts, fruit salads, syrups, toppings & pies. They provide an appealing contrast when mixed with the blue of traditional blueberries.  Pink Lemonade Blueberry forms an upright, sturdy shrub staying about 5 ft tall. Vaccinium ‘Pi
