Red Twig Dogwood grows fast, maturing 6 to 10 feet tall & wide. Its multi-stemmed structure makes a good hedge, attracting butterflies and other pollinators. Red Twig Dogwood has year-round color and interest. It is named after the bright red branches that stand out in the winter landscape. In late spring white flowers provide nectar for pollinators. Summer brings deep green leaves. In fall foliage turns purple / red / orange and branches are filled with light white berries that nourish migrating birds and quail. Red Twig Dogwood will tolerate clay or boggy wet soil. It grows well in full sun or part-shade. Cornus sericea ‘Baileyi’ USDA Zones 3 - 8
